I am Vanya.
I am a professional skydiver, base jumper, tandem skydive instructor, mountaineer, snowboarder, and photographer. But first and foremost I am an adventurer.
An ever-wandering spirit on the lookout for whatever unearthly pleasures this planet has to offer. Always on the move. Always ready to take “the shot”.
My story goes way back to my teens when I first got involved with free fall. At that very moment, the acceleration set my soul free, and I was hooked. I soon started skydiving all around the globe and met people, beautiful wild people, all questing for another life-changing challenge around the corner just like me.
Base jumping then led me into the wilderness and the highest peaks in search of the perfect jump. My horizons broadened and I discovered a vast array of new games I could partake in on the ground as well. From free climbing to backcountry snowboarding.
I guess you could then call me a full-stack photographer, taking shots from both the air and the ground.
Nowadays, with 15 years of professional experience of working on and managing multiple projects, I figured it was time to dive into another epic adventure.
